Here are the finished posters that I was commissioned to do for the Northern York Varsity Baseball Booster Club. These were handed out to the graduating seniors for them to present to their parents during a team get-together prior to a game this past week. Hope they all enjoyed them!
What’s really funny about these posters is that I later found out that I went to high school with Ryan Steele’s dad (Bob) and played Twilight ball with Jake Warner’s dad, Craig.
These posters were the first ones ordered from our new Premium Poster designs. Each poster is 20″ x 30″ and mounted to double-thickness art board. Contact PhotoFX Pros to find out how we might be able to customize a keepsake poster for you or your organization.
By the way, congratulations to the Polar Bears for winning and advancing to the playoffs.
The Northern York Peewee Polar Bears capped off a stellar season by defeating the St. Joseph’s Chargers 13-0 to win the CFA Super Bowl XXXVII. Both teams were pretty evenly matched but the Polar Bears proved to be too much for the Chargers finally scoring again in the fourth quarter after recovering a fumble in St. Joseph’s territory.
Unfortunately the Polar Bears Pony team didn’t fare as well, losing to another St. Josephs team 2-7. Considering that the Polar Bears were seeded 5th going into the playoffs and that they found themselves in Chargers territory with less than a minute left to play, the possibility of victory for the Polar Bears was very real. After Northern failed to gain any yardage on several plays the Chargers intercepted a “Hail Mary” pass as the clock ran out ending the Polar Bears hope for an upset.

I would also like to mention that Polar Bear running back Matt Geiger (#26) was named Peewee League MVP as well as the Super Bowl game MVP. Congratulations to Matt!
