As we’ve increased our workload of shooting high school, college, and professional sporting events, we’ve found ourselves pulled further away from the one thing we enjoy most. The single biggest reason we got into this business was to use our experience and resources to provide top-notch, professional photography services to our local communities.

We miss photographing Little League baseball, U10 soccer, Pop Warner football, and all the various other sports our children play. So it was pretty much a no-brainer when I decided to cut back on the number of high level sporting events we’ve been covering and get back to working and interacting within our communities.

Having said that I will be covering a Dillsburg youth baseball game tonight, Thursday, May 21. Game starts at 6:00 pm and I will either be at Krall field covering Gaffney’s v. Shumaker’s or at Ryder field where Apicella-Conner is playing Lobar. If you’re there and see me, feel free to stop and introduce yourself.

Great weather, great baseball, and great people. That’s really what it should all be about anyway. I’ll post back with a few photos and some comments later.

If you’re a frequent visitor to the PhotoFX Pros blog, you probably have noticed some changes. We recently switched over to a different blogging platform which we’re all pretty excited about. While Blogger served us well, it just doesn’t have the customization and flexibility that Wordpress has. Best of all is that we believe that Wordpress will allow us to present our images in a much better way.

While we’re still tweaking the look and functionality, feel free to tell us what you think about the new PhotoFX Pros blog. And don’t forget to check back here to get the details on our up and coming photo contest for parents, friends, and relatives.
